Pratkvarn is a Swedish compound word of Prat (Talk) and kvarn (mill) meaning a person who speaks (too?) much. The game Pratkvarn is a fun, fast-paced social game where the whole family or all friends can take part and play. Pratkvarn is about getting your teammates to understand what word you’re trying to describe using other words; how you do it is up to you, just as long as you do not use the given word.
"Banana" could become "a curved, yellow fruit with a thick skin and soft sweet flesh" or maybe "the favorite fruit of Donkey Kong". For some, a few carefully chosen words is best and for others it works better to blabber on like a real Pratkvarn!
